For over one year i've got this Expedition Hammock and I've used it allready in Luxemburg and Scotland and I've have to say, it's a great thing!
You don't need mattresses and a tent so that's less of weight and it's a very small package.
You don't need a flat ground only two trees (and they don't need to be big).
The only little disadvantage is with cold weather. The Hammock doesn't isolate so well, and even with a very good sleeping bag you will feel the cold air beneath you.
By the way the picture above is made in october 2009 in Scotland at a beautyfull spot just after Loch Laggan at the Pattack Falls.
